I may collect personal information from you when you buy a painting. 

2. What information will be collected

  • The personal information  might include your name, title, email address, postal address, telephone numbers, your role within an organisation and in addition to this, if you are accessing our website,  your IP address and information on what pages are addressed - and when. This is received anonymously through the medium of Google Analytics and recorded every six months. 

  • If you purchase a paintingt through www.clare.williams-art.com  your card information will not held by me. You will be making a direct BACS payment into my account   

 

3. Our use of this information and who sees it
The personal information we collect will be used to:

  • send you your painting

  • provide or administer activities relating to the services: updating you with important administrative messages, to help us identify you when you contact me, and help me to properly maintain records.

  • provide analysis so that I can better understand my supporters, their preferences and needs, and important trends.  This may mean looking at all the interactions you have with me so I can aim to offer you the right information or offers at the right time.

  • I may use your information to enhance the service that I provide, to improve information and communications or to personalise the website to better suit your needs.


I will not share your details with third party organisations.
Your personal information is stored on a secure database for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of its use. All documents with the inclusion of sensitive data are password-protected,. I  carry out periodic deletion of data whose retention period has expired and/or when the need to continue holding such data is no longer present.

I take the security of your personal information extremely seriously. I've implemented appropriate physical, technical and administrative measures to protect the personal information I have , both on- and off-line, from improper access, use, alteration, destruction and loss. I only keep it as long as is reasonable and necessary. Here are some of the ways I  protect your personal information:

While I try to link only to sites that share my high standards and respect for privacy, I am not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.   • Communications in connection with the services I provide may be sent by e-mail. Whilst I endeavour to keep  systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects I  cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.

  • The transmission of information over the internet is never completely secure. I will do my best to protect your personal data, but cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
